Monthly Meetings Resume in the Fall. Our next general meeting is Saturday, September 19. Our speaker will be Dr. George Tynan, Associate Dean, Jacobs School of Engineering, and Professor, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Faculty, Center for Energy Research, UCSD. Dr Tynan is an expert on plasma physics and fusion energy as well as the larger issue of transitioning to a sustainable energy economy, and he will talk to us about exciting developments in these areas.
